Our sincere thanks to Diana Hudson and Lee Kaplan for hosting the Alexis de Tocqueville Society Kickoff reception in their home on October 14, 2009. Over 115 Alexis de Tocqueville Society members gathered to celebrate the impact their gift makes in our community. Members heard Tocqueville Society Co-Chairs Dorothy Ables and Bobby Tudor speak about the importance of keeping United Way strong and how Alexis de Tocqueville Society members make a profound impact on our community year after year. Our special thanks also go to Andrews Kurth LLP and Spectra Energy for sponsoring this event.

Members of the Alexis de Tocqueville Society are community leaders who contribute $10,000 or more annually to the United Way because they believe that United Way is the best way to make the biggest difference in our community.
