| Taking Leadership to the Next Level |

- Encourage giving to the Chairman's Club ($1,000-$4,999). When you start your campaign, be sure to include a special event for Chairman's Club givers. Whether it is a part of an existing meeting, or a special lunch event, having prospective members listen to those who already give will reap huge increases to the campaign.
- Lead Chairman's Club donors to the Leadership Circle ($5,000-$9,999). By focusing on those members of your company listed in the leadership giving roster under Chairman's Club, particularly the gold level, a special meeting might encourage them to step up to this level. Remember to have someone giving at this level speak to this group, and remember that United Way staff or a volunteer can make one-on-one visits to prospective donors to help you.
- Focus on the ultimate step to the Alexis de Tocqueville Society ($10,000 and up). By focusing on your consistent leadership givers and executives, especially Leadership Circle donors, a special reception or meeting might make the difference in their giving increase. Be sure to get with the United Way so that they can have an Alexis de Tocqueville member come and speak.
- Make it possible for individuals who want to join Young Leaders or the Women's Initiative to self-identify on your company's e-Pledge site - These groups, within the giving levels listed above, are great networking opportunities within the workplace and community.
Remind your employees that it's easy to do something about it.
