A group of talented and caring young professionals is committed to strengthening our community and our future. These emerging leaders are the future of philanthropy and community service in Houston. United Way of Greater Houston applauds our Young Leaders for their passionate commitment to helping others succeed. In 2008, 2,300 Young Leaders gave individuals, families and neighborhoods an opportunity to thrive.
Young Leaders are donors age 45 and under who contribute $1,000 or more annually to United Way. Young Leaders enjoy a full roster of educational, social and service events designed to prepare them for leadership roles in our community.
We thank our Young Leaders for their generous support of our community through United Way. Young Leaders not only improve the quality of life in our area today, they are building the foundation for the philanthropic work of tomorrow.
