Membership Benefits
Young Leaders are leadership donors age 45 and under who make the decision to do something about it by making a personal contribution of $1,000 or more annually to United Way.
Young Leaders is designed to identify the next generation of decision-makers, to familiarize them with other key players, and to prepare them for their role in serving our community. As a Young Leader, you will enjoy a full roster of educational, social and service events designed to help you improve your leadership skills and expand your personal contacts.
Young Leader activities include:
- Luncheon with Leaders: A series of intimate networking luncheons with prominent local corporate leaders.*
- Community Service Projects: Opportunities for members to volunteer for projects that improve neighborhoods and strengthen our community.
- Developing Leaders Series: Leadership development workshops featuring topics such as board development, coaching and much more.
- Networking and Social Events: Held throughout the year at a variety of locations around Houston, these events allow members to expand their personal and professional networks.
