| The United Way Community Resource Center offers free meeting space during United Way business hours to nonprofit organizations. To be eligible to use the CRC, a nonprofit organization must have 501(c) tax-exempt status or be a governmental entity working within the State of Texas.
The focus and format of each meeting may be determined by the nonprofit, as long as the content or goal is in support of the organization's mission. See policies and procedures for details about guidelines.
A copy of the organization's 501(c) certification letter from the IRS and verification of General Liability Insurance must be received and on file prior to scheduling space at the CRC. Fees
There is no rental charge for the use of the meeting facilities during United Way business hours. In return, groups assume the responsibility for cleaning the meeting space and leaving it ready for use by other groups. Nominal fees are charged for evening and Saturday events, audio/visual equipment, meeting supplies, beverages, after hours security, photocopying and fax services.
