Leadership Giving Levels

These individuals age 45 and under, giving at least $1,000 annually, enjoy the opportunity to connect with peers and prominent corporate professionals. They are emerging leaders who are well informed of the needs of the community and are leading their peers to “do something about it.”

In its fifth year, Young Leaders membership has grown to more than 1,900 members and raised more than $3.4 in the 2006-07 campaign. This group has had a major impact not only on the United Way campaign, but on the community it serves.

Past benefit examples include:

Luncheon with Leaders featuring key business leaders
Various social events such as wine tasting events and happy hours, cooking classes and joint events with other area young professional groups
Attendance to various sporting and theatrical events during the year
Annual Young Leaders kick-off event
Recognition in the leadership roster
Recognition among your peers on your e-pledge Web site
Newsletter featuring past events and overall United Way news
