The United Way Bay Area Center hosts several network meetings which bring together a wide variety of audiences to address community needs and identify resources to address those needs. These networks include:
- Bay Area Collaborative Partners - This monthly meeting brings all Bay Area nonprofits, organizations, state/city/county/local entities and faith-based organizations together to network, share resource information, program services, and problem solve any client needs. Each meeting has a program topic which is highlighted, which brings education, knowledge of services and eligibility for direct client referrals into resources. These meetings occur on the second Friday of each month from 9:00am-10:30am at the Bay Area Center.
- Bay Area Veteran Service Providers Network – This quarterly meeting brings together all social services, faith-based and organizations that provide services specifically to Veterans and their families within the Bay Area to come together for an opportunity to network, collaborate and learn about all the services available. Partners are encouraged in opening the lines of communication with one another and build strong collaborations that will help assist our Veterans within the community. Please call (281) 282-6000 for meeting schedule.
